New patient resource
Questions are a good place to start.
Understand what your first visit may involve, how individualized care is discussed, and which concerns patients commonly bring to the practice.
Before your first visit
You do not have to arrive with all the answers.
The purpose of an evaluation is to understand what is affecting you and discuss options in a clear, respectful way. It is not an online diagnosis, and no treatment is appropriate for every patient or every concern.
Schedule an EvaluationWhat happens during a first visit at Indy Spine and Balance?
Your first visit is centered on listening to your concerns, reviewing relevant history, completing an appropriate examination, and discussing the next step. Dr. Ferris will explain the findings, answer questions, and discuss whether care at the practice may be appropriate or whether a referral is the better choice.
Do I need to know which treatment I need before scheduling?
No. You do not need to self-select a therapy. An evaluation helps determine which options, if any, fit your needs and goals. Care may include chiropractic techniques, advanced therapies, lifestyle guidance, or referral when appropriate.
What conditions do you commonly evaluate?
Patients often seek an evaluation for neck and back discomfort, sciatica, headaches, balance or dizziness concerns, joint and mobility pain, sports injuries, and auto-accident injuries. A listed concern does not guarantee that a specific therapy is indicated; the right next step depends on your evaluation.
Are laser therapy, shockwave therapy, and decompression right for everyone?
No. Each therapy has its own considerations. Dr. Ferris reviews your health history, symptoms, examination findings, and goals before discussing whether an option may fit your care plan.
How do I schedule an evaluation?
You can schedule online through the practice’s booking page or call Indy Spine and Balance directly. The team can help you choose an appropriate appointment type and answer practical questions before your visit.
